Future of PB&J (peace-building and justice collab)

PB&J is the light temporary name we gave to a broad collaboration toward community-level peace-building and justice. The invitation list included the fallow Dane Restorative Justice Coalition (DRJC), Madison's Homelessness Restorative Justice Project (HRJ), every agency or org we had contact info for (everyone is welcome, pass it on to ones we may have missed) that does restorative justice work, the Community Response Team (CRT) that formed to address police-involved shootings, and interested community members.

I (Stephanie Rearick, a founder of DRJC and CRT, point person for HRJ with Madison Mutual Aid Network) convened a couple broader meetings to regroup and continue in advocacy and building systems to bring more peace and justice to a neighborhood rather than law enforcement level.

We have an opportunity to host this collaboration as a work group of PHMDC's Violence Prevention initiative, which would come with more institutional support.

Please let us know your thoughts!

Thanks,

Stephanie
